Assalamu Alaikum
Dear Brother in Islam,
The answer to your question is as follows:

Interest money should be given to a poor and needy person without making an intention of getting reward. As for your brother, you stated in the previous question that he is an alcoholic and spends what he gets on drinking, it is better not to give him the interest money. This is because, giving money to him will amount helping him in committing grave-sin. And helping someone in forbidden deeds is prohibited in Islam. The Glorious Qur¡¯an says, ¡°Help not one another unto sin and transgression¡±. (Suratul-Ma¡¯idah: 5/2)

Pray for him and try to inculcate the severe consequence of drinking into him with wisdom so that he may dislike drinking and say goodbye to his habit.

And Allah knows the best,
