Dear Brother in Islam,
The answer to your question is as follows:

The permit referred to the above-mentioned question needs more clarification to write a concise and precise answer. As far as the matter of profit is concerned, Islam does not put a particular restriction to the profit of goods. It depends upon sellers. But the profit shouldn¡¯t cross the market rate nor should it lead to take undue advantage of the situation which we call ¡°Jaib Katna¡± in Urdu language. Since, Islam strictly prohibits to oppress someone or take undue advantage of the situation. The Prophet of Islam (SAWS) is reported as having said, ¡°Behold! Don¡¯t oppress; behold! The property of a man is not lawful (for you) except with his willful consent¡±. (Baihaqi, Mishkaat: 255) He also narrated to have said, ¡°The merchants will be raised up on the Resurrection Day as transgressors except those who were fearful of Allah, pious and truthful¡±. (Ibne Majah, Tirmizi, Mishkaat: 244)

And Allah knows the best,
