Dear Sister in Islam,
The answer to your question is as follows:

The Farz or Wajib Salah performed after ití»s time has expired is called Qaza.

One who misses less than six Salah and beside these Salah no other Salah are due on him, is known as Sahib-e-Tarteeb. Such person must perform Qaza in order before he/she performs Ada (Salah performed in ití»s prescribed time) in ití»s time provided that there is no fear of expiring the time of Ada Salah. If one fears that the time of Ada Salah will expire in case one engages oneself in performing Qaza, then it is not necessary to perform Qaza in order before performing Ada. But one should perform Ada first and then Qaza. (Maraqilfalah 362)

The method of performing Qaza Salah is as similar as that of Ada. The only difference is that one should mention the particular time of that Salah while intending for Qaza. One has missed Fajr Salah, for instance, then one should intend to perform the Qaza of Fajr. But if one has missed more than one Fajr Salah then one has to mention the date and day of the Salah one is going to perform, and the month or year if the Salah of several months or years have been missed.

One who has missed a number of Farz Salah and does not remember the exact numbers as well as the days should intend as, í░O Allah! Ií»m performing the first Fajr, for instance, from those which I have missedí▒, and keep on performing until one is satisfied that all the missed Salah have been performed. (Ibid)

And Allah knows the best,
