Dear Sister in Islam,
The answer to your question is as follows:

The books of Ahadith abound with the virtues of Shabe Qadr and it falls in one of the odd nights amongst the last ten nights of Ramadhan. One should spend these nights worshiping Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta¡¯alah by offering Nafl prayers, reciting the Glorious Qur¡¯an and remembering Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta¡¯alah as much as one can.

It is not necessary to remain awake whole night if one is not able to do so or feels sleepy. ¡°Allah doest take a soul beyond its scope¡±. (Suratul-Baqarah 2/286) But it is better to take rest or sleep when one gets tired or feels sleepy and loses interest in worshiping.

The best and appropriate time for Nafl Ibadaat is the last part of nigh for one who can get up. Otherwise, one should worship as much as one can before one goes to bed. Allah doesn¡¯t look at the quantity of worships but He looks at the intention and sincerity of the worshiper. The Glorious Qur¡¯an says, ¡°Their flesh and blood do not reach Allah, but the devotion from you reaches Him. (Suratul-Hajj 22/37)

And Allah knows the best,
