Assalamu Alaikum
Respected Mufti Saheb. MMERC, Mumbai

1. If a woman's period is usually over say on January 10th and the blood come out again on January 25th, is this blood be period?

2. If it is period, what should she do if she stops bleeding at the end of the day?
What the bleeding would be called if after two or three days again she starts bleeding? Is it because of her sickness?

3. How about the minimum of the period?

4. When woman has period, she may not bleed every minutes. Actually, she often bleeds in the afternoon and she may not bleed in the night if she has been bleeding for 4 or 5 days. When it should be a time for her to take Ghusl, but she still not sure that she would bleed again or not in the afternoon. So, she waits until tomorrow afternoon is passed and she takes Ghusl. If there is no bleeding tomorrow afternoon, so she must take Ghusl as soon as possible. It means that she has to take the Ghusl in the night because the period has already over, but she is just still not sure.
Therefore, she misses namaaz because she waits until tomorrow afternoon passes. Will she be considered sinful? However, she should Qaza namaaz right?

5. The woman is bleeding on the 12th day after her last period have already over, and she continues bleeding until the 18th day. So, the blood that come out on the 16th day is the period, isn't it?

6. Due to the sickness of women, they have different health problems (about period) from each other. Some situation is hard to make a decision what should she do? Should she do namaaz or not? Many are worried that if she is bleeding, it means that she has period although it is not. So, she would not perform namaaz until the bleeding is over. Moreover, there is no any Alim or the knowledgeable person whom they could consult and ask for the decision. In some cases, although there may be an Alim, they would not ask because of shyness. So, she doesn't have anybody to consult immediately, then what should she do if she is bleeding and she is also not sure that when her last period is over.

7. If she remembers the day when her last period is over, then what should she do. For EX; if it is her period, but she makes the decision that it is not because it is just her sickness. So, she would be sinful if she perform namaaz or recite the Quran. In this case, what should she do? Another EX; if it is not her period, then she would not perform namaaz. So, I think she should Qaza namaaz and seek forgiveness if she know by her mistakes. However, if she doesn't know, then what will happen?

9. Once I read the book and i saw that some women have wet dream, so she must take Ghusl. Could you tell me what is the wet dream. Why it happen. Oh, it is enough for now because there are many situations that many ask me and i don't know how to answer. They want to know exactly what they should do. However, if i suggest them wrong, then I will be sinful right? Oh, it is very hard.

Wassalam

Dear Sister in Islam

Wa'laikumus Salam

Dear sister!
I tried hard to understand your questions but failed due to my poor comprehension of your confusing English. However, I thought it better to mention some principles and major Masa-el about Hayz (menses) and Istihaza (blood of disease) for your convenience. Shyness should not be barrier at all. When in the worldly matters problems are discussed with the physicians and treatment is taken without shyness, then why should it be in religious issues specially upon which are based Prayers and fasts.

(i)The blood coming from uterus of a major menstruating woman not after delivery of baby is called Haiz in Islamic terminology. (ii)The blood coming from vagina but not from uterus is called Istihaza which comes out of any disease or problem. (iii)The blood coming out after child birth is called Nifas. Each has separate Ahkam or rulings.
All these are impurity and have separate Masa-el.
Minimum duration of menstruation (Haiz) is three days with nights, so the blood for less than three days with nights is not Haiz but Istihaza (blood of disease). Maximum duration of menstruation is ten days, so the blood for more than ten days is Istihaza and not Haiz.
It is not necessary to be Haiz to come out every moment. Haiz comes every month from a healthy woman normally.(i) The woman for whom it comes for the first time is called Mubtadi'ah (starting the menstruation). For such a woman, blood up to ten days will be considered Haiz and the blood exceeding ten days is not Haiz but Istihaza (ii) The woman who has established habit of Haiz days will consider only those days as of Haiz which are her habit and the blood exceeding her habit as Istihaza provided that the blood exceeded ten days.(iii) The woman who has established habit of Haiz days but this time her blood exceeded her habit up to ten days: in this case she will consider all these days up to ten as the days of Haiz, and it will be assumed that her habit has changed.
In the period of Haiz, the Holy Qur'an will not be touched or recited, Prayers (Salah) are forgiven, and there is no Qaza after end of Haiz at all, and intercourse will not be done. Saum (fasts) will not be kept in Haiz period, but Qaza of those fasts must be made after this state. Du'as can be read during Haiz period.
In Istihaza Recitation, Prayers and Fasts etc. will be done after making Wodhu for each time of Salah.

Thanking You
