Dear Brother in Islam,

The answer to your question is as follows:

The question needs more clarification to write a concise and precise answer. However, all the laws and teachings of Islam can be divided into two categories: (1) Ahkam (teaching related to the practice such as Salah, Sawm and so on) (2) E¡¯taqaad (teaching related to the attributes of Allah Almighty).

There are four school of thoughts amongst Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamah in the matter of Ahkamaat: Hanfiah, Shafiah, Malikiah and Hamboliah when two in E¡¯taqaadaat: Asharee and Maturidy. Shaikh Abu Monsoor Maturidy was Hanfi when Shaikh Abul Hasan Asharee was Shafee. Therefore, most of Hanfee Ulama are Maturidee when Shawafe¡¯ are Asharee in the matter of Aqidah. (Sharhe Aqaayid)

And Allah knows the best,
